On Wednesday April 30th at
9:35 PM, Princeton Junction and West Windsor Volunteer fire fighters
were
dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment on Clarksville
Rd.
A group of Princeton Junction members were clearing up from a special
event
at the Baskin Robins in Plainsboro and quickly responded in Engine 44.
Chief 44 (Huber) arrived on location confirming 1 patient entrapped.
Rescue
44 and Engine 44 arrived on scene at the same time and quickly went to
work
extricating the patient, who was thrown to the rear of the vehicle due
to
the lack of seat belt use. A door pop of the sliding door on the van
was performed allowing access to the patient for awaiting EMS
personnel.
Crews remained on location for a short time while the vehicle was
loaded
onto a wrecker and the roadway cleared of debris. |
