Princeton Junction Fire Company, West Windsor Fire Company, West Windsor Police, Twin "W" First Aid Squad and the West Windsor Emergency Services personnel all came out and participated in the National Night Out at West Windsor Community Park on Tuesday, August 4, 2009.  Each division brought pieces of apparatus to be displayed for the public.  In addition to fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances, the West Windsor Police brought out their K-9 unit, weapons from the SWAT team for display.  Also in attendance were local businesses including the PNC Bank and Target.

All participants displayed material to the public and answered any questions the public may have. Members from the Princeton Junction Fire Company setup their 110 ft aerial tower and members from the company climbed the ladder to the bucket.

About an hour or so into the special event, Engine 44 was detailed for a cover assignment by Mercer County Central to Mercer Engine Co #3 in Princeton.  Engine 44's crew took in the cover assignment while the remaining members of the company stayed to participate at National Night Out.
