On July 21, 2007 at 1:16 PM,
Princeton Junction Fire Company was alerted to a vehicle fire at the guard
shack on the vacant BASF property on Quakerbridge Road. Due to the proximity
of the vehicle to the building, West Windsor Fire Company was also toned out
on the initial dispatch.
Engine 44 responded at 1:22 PM commanded by Ff. Bill
Manuel, driven by Driver/Operator Dennis McClenahan, with a crew that
included Ff. David Black, Ff. Tara Huber, Ff. Cindy McClenahah and Ff.
Jeremiah Robison. Telesquirt 44 responded at 1:25 PM commanded by Ff. Tony Mangone,
driven by Driver/Operator James Bird, with a crew that included Ff. Dan
Rosenbaum and Jr. Ff. Tyler Black.
Chief 44 (Huber) arrived on scene at 1:21 PM and reported a
fully involved engine compartment on a security truck. Engine 43 arrived on
scene at 1:25 PM and began extinguishment of the fire. Engine 44 arrived at
1:26 PM
and assisted Engine 43's crew with extinguishment and overhaul. Telesquirt
44 arrived on scene at 1:28 PM and assisted with overhaul.
